Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, got PAID this offseason. The Chiefs and Super Bowl MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes agreed on a 10-year, $503 million, contract extension. The deal will run from the 2021 season all the way to 2031. When the season starts, Mahomes will become the NFL's highest paid player.

In just three short seasons, Mahomes has already taken the Chiefs to the playoffs twice and won the Super Bowl once! During his phenomenal MVP year in 2018, Mahomes threw for a total of 5,097 yards with a touchdown to interception ratio of 50 to 12. In his Super Bowl season last year, Mahomes threw for a total of 4,031 yards with 26 touchdowns and only giving up 7 interceptions. Even since his Pro Day, we knew Mahomes was special. That day, he threw an astonishing 80-yard touchdown pass! Absolutely stunning!
